DrainEezy Debris Guard is a high-performance add-on pre-filter solution as your 3-stage filtration system engineered to extend the life of your DrainEezy Transformer Bund Filter. Designed for transformer bunds, it catches larger debris and coarser sediment at the first point of entry, preventing premature blockage of water flow to the finer sediment pre-filter and safeguarding the primary filter beyond. The result is a seamless three-stage filtration defence that keeps hydrocarbon-contaminated rainwater from ever reaching the environment.

Attachment is fast and flexible: snap it to ferrous bunds using powerful epoxy-coated neodymium magnets or bolt it securely to non-ferrous surfaces using four M8 screws. No specialist tools. No downtime. Just reliable, long-term protection.

The cage and lid are manufactured from a high-performance carbon fibre reinforced thermoplastic engineered for durability in harsh industrial environments. This material delivers excellent UV stability, structural strength and reliable performance across a temperature range of -5°C to +60°C, with strong resistance to moisture and creep.
Flexible dual-fixing system with two secure installation options:
- Magnetic Fixing for Ferrous Bunds: Epoxy-coated neodymium magnets (supplied) enable fast, tool-free installation.
- Screw Fixing for Non-Ferrous Bunds: For non-ferrous bunds, the unit is secured using four M8 screws (not supplied). Screw length should be selected to suit the bund wall thickness, and 316 stainless steel screws are recommended to ensure long-term corrosion resistance.
All metal components are 316 grade stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance, long-term durability and a non-reactive surface compatible with transformer and ester oils.
Replaceable filter mesh with high flow rate, corrosion and weather resistance, and easy to clean.
Integrated bypass openings on the lid allow excess water to bypass the filter during extreme rainfall, helping prevent overflowing.
